Role introduction:

Expressway Ford Lincoln has an opening for a Service Detailer in New Hamburg, Ontario. As an ideal candidate for our Detailing and Sales Support role at Expressway, you are approachable, energetic, and detailed oriented. We are looking for someone who can provide our Service and Sales department with support in cleaning clients’ vehicles, preparing sold vehicles for delivery, applying protective coatings, reconditioning pre-owned vehicle, and more.

We require a task-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and meeting targets. The successful candidate is an independent worker, has strong interpersonal skills, and works well in a team setting. Duties and responsibilities:

• As part of a Team, you will help build trusting relationships with Guests
• Complete all cleaning of new, used, and inventoried vehicles with utmost attention to detail.
• Complete courtesy washes/detailing of Lincoln vehicles in for Service
• Take photos of cleaned vehicles and post on our website to support sales
• Work with all departments in a team work environment and prioritize needs of customers and staff members
• Opportunity to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Must be committed to delivering excellent service, value to the customer, and help ensure a positive impression when customer takes delivery of their new vehicle.

Required qualifications:

• High School or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous Detailing experience is preferred
• Valid Ontario driver’s license (G) with clean abstract
• Computing skills including use of Microsoft Outlook, Windows, Internet navigation

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Work Location: In person

Annual Earnings: $45, 000 to $ 55,000

Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday (with overtime required during peak delivery events)

Experience:

• Automotive Detailing: 1 year (preferred)
